About Yamanna
Our Mission
Yamanna is dedicated to glorifying God by guiding refugee and immigrant families through their journey of setting and achieving life goals, allowing them to thrive in their new communities. We provide life coaching, resource accessibility and advocacy to aid in the revealing and dismantling of concealed barriers to permanent change.
In order to help in an enduring way, we work with established refugee and immigrant families and assist them in creating pathways to success. We prepare our clients to achieve higher level goals, such as going to college, getting their GED or opening a business.
Our History
Founded by Eileen Wilson, who has over 20 years of experience working with the refugee and immigrant community, Yamanna was established to address gaps in resources and support. Eileen's journey began in 2004 as an ESL teacher and evolved into the creation of Yamanna to provide a more community-centric approach to helping families achieve larger, impactful goals.
